It’s usually 2-4 weeks to dispatch although we always aim to beat that time.

A more accurate estimate is given above in ‘The Finer Details’. If your piece is over 7.78g it will also be sent to the Assay Office for precious metal verification and hallmarking before being dispatched to you.

We want you to enjoy your jewellery for the many years to come, but to do this, please do take care of it. 

- We recommend you protect your silver jewellery when not being worn by keeping it in your original Neena Kay box. Keep individual pieces separate to avoid scratching.  

- Sterling silver will tarnish with time and wear. To take care of your sterling silver jewellery, polish it frequently with a soft dry cloth to avoid tarnish. Do use the silver polishing cloth supplied with your jewellery to retain its shine.

- Be careful with your gemstones and use just warm gentle soapy water with a soft toothbrush to clean. 

- Avoid all contact with chemicals, perfume, hairspray and deodorant.

- Always remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or doing work that may lead to the piece being misshapen or tarnished.

Tarnishing and Oxidisation

Silver will tarnish faster in areas of high humidity and pollution. In addition, contact with materials such as makeup, hair spray, perfume, deodorant, body lotion, bleach, etc. can also speed up the tarnishing process. It may look black or green on your skin or on the jewellery. The silver in the ring can also oxidize due to reactions with acids in the skin, moisture from sweat, or other lotions or chemicals on the skin.
